Our on-site training days will not only give you a snapshot of challenges you will see at our matches, they are also stand-alone group events dedicated to increasing your level of cardiovascular fitness, strength, and proficiency with your weapon systems and your gear.
With the right equipment and minimal training, just about anyone can show up and perform reasonably well at a traditional pistol, rifle, or two-gun match. It takes another level of fitness and motivation to run, lift, and shoot while carrying everything you need to perform several high-intensity, challenging stages without stopping. Liability: Zero Matches demand that you show up in good physical condition, including cardiovascular fitness and functional strength, which we focus on during training.
Training Days will typically run on the same days as our Squad matches. If you sign up and pay for the associated Squad match beforehand, your Training Days event fee will be reduced by $10.

Our on-site training days are designed:
All we ask is that you show up with a positive attitude and ready to sweat.
We will be using Liability: Zero Contracts to review and record our scores for drills, so please take a few minutes to create a free Liability: Zero account ahead of time.
Training days are not matches, but are designed to prepare you for them. On-site training days are also not fundamental classes to teach new shooters the basics of pistol and/or rifle shooting. While we will discuss firearm safety and apply the basics as well as some advanced topics, you should already know the fundamentals and be comfortable safely using and manipulating your firearms.
If you are looking for courses related to the basics and fundamentals of shooting, please feel free to message us and we will do our best to guide you to a training group or groups best suited for your needs.
Unless otherwise stated, you will need to bring your own firearms, both a rifle capable of accurately hitting 10" targets at a maximum of 200 yards and a sidearm, your own ammunition, a rifle sling, a battle belt with an active retention holster, as well as any other gear you need to carry magazines and gear, such as a plate carrier or chest rig. Most importantly, don't forget your water bottle - Florida summers are no joke.
As a general rule, you should show up with three (3) 30-round rifle magazines and at least two (2) pistol magazines and at least 100 rounds of both rifle and pistol ammunition. The drills will usually have relatively low round counts, 50 or so rounds per course-of-fire.
Bring what you would consider to be "the" kit and gear you would wear when the going gets tough. However, a plate carrier with rifle-rated plates, or a training vest weighing 10-20 pounds, is highly recommended. While we encourage you to stick to the program as each event is designed to push you physically, you are able to alter the physical training according to your level of fitness if you so choose.
